Amarillo Women’s Network Scholarship

American Chemical Society Scholars Program

Amount:        $3,000

Requirements:

• Open to African-American, Hispanic, and Native American students
• U.S. citizen or permanent resident of the U.S.
• Full time student at an accredited college
• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• Able to demonstrate financial need according to FAFSA form
• Pursue a degree in the chemical science field, (includes the fields of chemistry, biochemistry, chemical engineering, materials science, environmental science, and toxicology)

Requirements:

· Must participate in a high school compensatory education program.  A compensatory education program is one that provides remedial assistance and support for students who have failed TAAS in their school career or who are at risk of dropping out of school.  Other programs given consideration are for migrant, Title I, Bilingual/ESL, and pregnant or parenting students.

Elks National Foundation Legacy Scholarship

Requirements:

• Be a child or grandchild of a living Elk who joined the order on or before
