*Note:  I was a principal in Shallowater that year.  I went to this game knowing I would root for Perryton because of Brownwood's aura.  I remember Brad Beck being seriously injured (in the first half I think) and how bad sports the Brownwood fans were by taunting "Where's Beck now?".  My brother,  who had seen the game the previous year, said it was because how Perryton in general and Brad in particular had decimated the Lions.  In a weird, twisted way, they were paying him a huge compliment without being aware of it.  Webmaster.
